FREDDY BALL is the first Chicagoland Regional Competition of the year!
Fred Astaire Chicago is proud to be hosting the 7th Annual Spring Event and it will be hosted at the beautifully renovated Crowne Plaza O'Hare Hotel.
With the growing publicity of ballroom dancing in the mainstream media, all 4 of the Chicago Fred Astaire Regional events has experienced continued growth each year and will continue to become the premier competitions of the Chicagoland area.
"Freddy Ball" is known as our "Oscar & Academy Awards".....Top teachers, the best of the best, will be awarded a "Freddy Award" for their outstanding performances of the previous year. This is also home of the annual "Joe Josephs" Award, where someone will be honored to receive an award in honor of Joe's legacy.
In 2012, Freddy Ball will be held as a 2 day event to accommodate both students and professionals alike. We excitedly look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!!
